List of Venues

Berkeley Town Hall is in the centre of Berkeley on the edge of Market Place. Two artists are exhibiting in the downstairs room with ample free parking nearby.  There are 2 further venues in Berkeley just a short distance away.  The Town Hall is an accessible venue.

Just a short walk from the Town Hall towards the Power Station Mel is exhibiting in her own home.  There is on street parking near Mel's house or free parking in the two car parks on Marybrook Street.

The studio at the Wild Acres site is based in a natural space with uneven ground to the rear of Breadstone Business Centre. (What3Words: muddy.works.unguarded).  To find us heading south from Cam and Dursley on the A38 turn right after the Prince of Wales Hotel signposted Breadstone and Purton.  After three quarters of a mile turn right at a sharp bend.  Go up the lane and turn right opposite the first property you pass.  At the top of the track immediately left down another track.  You will see the polytunnel and our wind generator as you approach.  From Berkeley head to Wanswell and turn right opposite the Salmon pub towards the A38.  After half a mile at the sharp bend follow the directions above.

St James’ Church is a pretty, light-filled medieval church of mellow Cotswold stone that stands on a steep hillside, overlooking a valley towards the Cotswold escarpment. It is down a narrow lane with limited parking. Access is through the downward sloping grass churchyard through a double gate with level entrance to the north porch.

Heading towards Wickwar along  the Downs, turn left onto Church Lane (50 yds before the 30 mph sign), this gravel drive leads to a large flat car park just 20 yards from the church building. Alternatively you can walk directly from the village of Wickwar from Station Road. There is a flat entrance into the church and easy access to the tea rooms and two toilets in a building next to the car park.The church is beautiful and light. Rev. David Russell has led worship there for many years. We hope to provide an exhibition of children's art work from Alexander Hosea Primary school and three stunning artists!

Oldbury on Severn's Memorial Hall is a light and airy venue built after the First World War as a memorial to local men.  Limited on road parking, with steps to the front of the Hall. 
PLEASE NOTE: There is building work being undertaken at the Hall.  We are open as usual but access is through a side door and not suitable for wheelchair users.  Sorry for the inconvenience, but please still come and see us!

From Thornbury…Take Butt Lane and head towards the power station, at the cross roads turn right on to The Naite. Turn next left in to Shepperdine Road and head towards the riverbank. We are about a mile along the road around the z bend. Look out for the Art Trail flag on your right then turn next immediate right. 

From Berkeley… Head towards Oldbury on Severn, once you have driven through Hill and avoid taking the road through Nupdown, instead turn left on to Hills Lane take your next right in to Shepperdine Road and follow the instructions above.
Please note there are 3 small steps down to the studio.

From Butt Lane take the 4th left into Barley Fields (new estate). You will see the side of The Barn through the new houses. Go straight on into Harvest Way, round to the right and turn left over the cattle grid in front of the play area. The Barn is in front of you. There are 3 parking spaces before the black gates for visitor use and further road parking around the estate before the cattle grid. Once parked please head through the black gates, the exhibition will be in front of you over the gravel drive.
