Enter the back door of Hawkins Hardware Shop, which is opposite St. Mary St car park, and you will find a door immediately to your right. There are stairs up to the studio which is on the right opposite the Hive Gallery. Alternatively enter the front of the shop and head for the back door. You will find the stairs through the door on the left.
