I create layered, fluid landscape paintings in watercolour and oils inspired by Cornwall and the countryside of Gloucestershire. Rooted in a strong sense of place, my work responds to shifting light, atmosphere, and natural textures found within these environments and my practice begins with sketching on location in watercolour, before developing the work further in my studio.
