I am a mixed media artist based in Sharpness, and I am organising and curating an exhibition entitled 'overLOOKed' in collaboration with the Canal & River Trust.
Seven local artists have been invited to create artwork inspired by the Sharpness Dock area to celebrate the overlooked beauty and interest of the docks and surrounding environment and encourage viewers to look more closely and think differently about the area.
The exhibition will include photography, ceramics, mixed media sculpture and oil painting, alongside a display by the Canal & Rivers Trust. The venue overlooks Sharpness docks, the River Severn and canal.
