Liz studied art to A-level, then life took over. She started painting again in her late 60s. Her inspiration has always been trees in the landscape. Her style has evolved over time and her work has been described as "English landscape with a twist" also as "loose landscapes". The way she uses media means that initially the results are unpredictable - then follows the excitement of interpretation!!
