I am a stained glass artist with a long, deep interest in the complex geometric frameworks found in Gothic cathedrals. I am fascinated to find the commonality of patterns used in sacred art throughout human history, seeking to apply these ideas through the use of light and line in my stained glass work. Whilst enjoying the meditative repetition of shape and the challenge it presents to me and my craft. Discovering that each pattern can be recreated in a multiplicity of ways means that a unique piece of art is created with each rendition.
