The Flying Pig Pottery on the edge of Thornbury, neighbouring the Leisure Centre, has easy access and parking and a big selection of ceramics made by many methods. Thrown and hand built bowls, vases, jugs, plates and mugs, coasters, pendants, fridge magnets, paper weights and fragrant candles. Also hand sculpted animals and models, and bleached coral sculptures (effects of global warming). For your kitchen, there are serving dishes and terracotta cookware. All inspired by nature and the magical properties of clay and glazing. I also make Raku and pit-fired pieces. You are welcome to view my studio, kilns, and pit-firing pit. Great fun for children.
