My work concentrates on my local landscape. The landmarks, fields, and fauna are all aspects that informs my paintings.
I work by sketching outside on the spot. The sketch will then be sized up and painted in my studio.
My painting process is very sketchy to start with then I slowly build layers of acrylic paint onto water colour paper or canvas to create fine detail.
Colour is also very important to me. To give a realistic interpretation of a view but an enhanced colour and contrast to make my work sing!
