Although I have painted outside landscapes in oil in many places, my work now mostly encompasses Gloucestershire. It has developed from local sketches to a more personal and partly abstract interpretation, colour, composition and emotion being powerful drivers. I have also experimented with work on paper, often concerned with beach and shoreline, collaged elements with added acrylic being the main medium.
