Painting

My acrylics and watercolours are mostly based on our own family photographs and painted at home or in studio sessions with Thornbury Art Club. My abstract silk paintings employ the special properties and vibrant colours of iron-fix dyes on fine woven silk.

Thornbury's United Reformed Church, built in 1826 is a Grade 2 listed light filled, elegant building located in Chapel Street just off the High Street.  Known as the Independent Chapel or Thornbury Congregational Chapel until 1972, it was renamed  when Congregationalists merged with Presbyterians to form the United Reformed Church.
