Mair Gapper & Kay Tily (Recycled Textile Design)
Mair and Kay work collaboratively as Recycled Textile Design. They are inspired by both the natural world and recycling, They work with textiles creating bespoke items using preloved fabrics. Using denim, vintage fabrics and natural wool fibres, they create a range of unique and functional homeware. Each piece has a distinctive style, is individually designed and lovingly hand crafted.

Oldwood Pits is in the grounds of a former 19th Century colliery. Most of the artwork will be displayed outside. You can wander around a large, interesting gardener's garden and orchard following a sculpture trail to view willow work, stone work and chainsaw sculptures. In open sheds and a well-ventilated workshop, you will find willow basketry, fused glass art and recycled bespoke textile items.
