Painting

My work is influenced by colour and reflections in water.  I usually paint with acrylics on canvas and am drawn to paint scenes of boats and water.  The shapes often lead into abstraction.  Flowers are also an inspiration because of their colours.  I just like to paint!

Thornbury's United Reformed Church, built in 1826 is a Grade 2 listed light filled, elegant building located in Chapel Street just off the High Street.  Known as the Independent Chapel or Thornbury Congregational Chapel until 1972, it was renamed  when Congregationalists merged with Presbyterians to form the United Reformed Church.
