Mosaic/Paintings

I have an individual approach to mosaic and usually take my inspiration from nature and the geometric abstract shapes of landscape and fauna, exploring these architectural qualities by using different textures and perspectives.  Although more recently through lockdown I have been drawn to a more figurative subject matter and in response created a series of mosaic portraits.  In addition I have also rediscovered my love of painting and found inspiration from local walks around Berkeley, experimenting with colour and texture in both oils and acrylics.
